November 14, 1840 - March 25, 1891
He enlisted in New Orleans, Louisiana, on May 9, 1861. Beginning on October 1, 1861, he was detailed as a Teamster. On July 6, 1863, he was captured during the Battle of Gettysburg. His name appeared on a record of Prisoners of War housed at Ft McHenry, Maryland. On October 30, 1864, he was paroled at Ft McHenry and transported to Ft Delaware. Later on the same date, he was exchanged at Venus Point, Savannah River, Georgia.
