Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Wilkes (Jackie) McCain, 97, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday June 15, 2020 at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Waymond Warren officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, La
Visitation will be from 12:30 until 1:45 PM Monday at the Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Mrs. McCain died June 11, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. McCain was a member of the Fair Park Baptist Church Good Hope Campus. She was a registered nurse, receiving her degree from University of Southern Mississippi Nursing School.
She worked at Glenwood Regional Medical Center serving as the first supervisor of surgery for many years. She loved spending time with her family, children, grandchildren and siblings. Mrs. McCain was also an avid quilter and her quilts were cherished by many.

She is preceded in death by her husband, W.A. “Bud” McCain; brothers, Desmond, Buddy and J.E. Wilkes; and sisters, Dessie Wilkes Bourque and Patty Jean Wilkes McKaskle.

Survivors: Daughters, Sandra Grizzaffi and husband, Sammy, and Carol Smith and husband, Mark; Son, Charles McCain and wife, Timpia; Grandchildren, Brad Grizzaffi (Sarah), Jeff Grizzaffi, Matt Grizzaffi (Tori), Al McCain (Emily), Sam McCain, Tyrel Smith, Mallory McCain Mahan (Dusty), and Torrie Smith; 12 great grandchildren; Sisters, Joyce Holloway (Carl), Beverly Caples, Mae Howze, and Jean Camarasana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons

Memorials may be made to Fair Park Baptist Church Good Hope Campus renovation fund.
