Ashley Eileen Shoptaugh Pharr was born February 5, 1984 in Bossier City, LA and passed away on June 13, 2018. Ashley is survived by her two sons, Dakota and Ryder Pharr of Hot Springs, AR, her mother Teresa Elkins Shoptaugh of Shreveport, LA, her father Johnny Shoptaugh and wife Bridget of Baton Rouge, LA, her grandmother Ruth Eileen Kean of Baton Rouge, LA, and her sister Jessica Slack and husband Shane of Vivian, LA, along with nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous loving friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Sammie and Vida Lee Elkins of Vivian, LA, James Shoptaugh of Baton Rouge, LA, and Amiss Kean of Baton Rouge, LA, and her cousin Quinn Elkins of Vivian, LA.

Ashley loved her family and friends and never met a stranger. She had a passion for softball and was an avid LSU Tiger and New Orleans Saints football fan. She loved to sing, laugh, and enjoy life, but her greatest accomplishment in life was her two boys.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Vivian, LA officiated by Rev. Harrell Shelton. There will be a time of visitation from 1 pm until service time on Saturday at the church. Burial will follow at Vivian Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Shoptaugh, Shane Slack, Austen Huff, Baily Slack, Terry Slack, Ricky Pharr, and Chris Roots.
