May 11, 1947 - April 29, 2013
Nelda Allison Thomas born May 11, 1947 passed away April 29, 2013 at North Oaks Hospital in Hammond, La. at the age of 65. Nelda was a Bank Teller at First State Bank and Zellco Credit Union for several years. She was a member of First Baptist Church here in Bogalusa.
She is survived by her husband Clyde E. Thomas of Bogalusa, a son Britt Miley of Bogalusa, a Daughter DeAnn (Byron) Forbes of Franklinton, La., step-son Allen (Wendy) Thomas of Richland, MS. a step-daughter Lea (Mike) Davis of Bogalusa, brother Joel (Joan) Allison of Covington, La., brother-in-law Lee V. Hopkins also of Covington, sister-in-law Edwrina Burch of Angie, five grandchildren /eight step grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
Nelda was proceded in death by parents Cedric and Lois Allison, and a sister Dorothy Hopkins.
Visitation will begin Thursday May 2, 2013 at Brown-McGehee Funeral beginning at 6:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. and resume after 8:00 A.M. Friday May 3, 2013 until service time at 2:00 P.M. Rev.Jimmy Byrd will officiate the services and the Interment will follow in the Pounds-Poole Cemetery located in Bogalusa.
Pallbearers will be Joel Allison, Patrick Graffagnino, Lee Hopkins, Russell Penzato, Kevin Mizell and Kalen Lee. Honorary Pallbearer is Jeremy Quave.
