BOGALUSA - The funeral service for Eva Lott Galloway, a resident of Bogalusa,
was scheduled for this morning at 10 a.m. at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home with the
Rev. Tommy Morgan and the Rev. Billy Galloway, her son, officiating. Interment followed in Pounds Cemetery.
She was 74 years old. She died Tuesday at Columbia Lakeview Regional Medical
Center.
For the past 2 years she was a resident of Resthaven Living Center. She was a
member of Main St. Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, the Rev. Billy Galloway and wife, Virginia, of Bogalusa;
one daughter Patricia Ann Galloway Magee of Covington; one stepson, Jimmy
Galloway of French Settlement; two brothers, J.C. Lott, Jr. of Kenner, and James
Lott of Marrero; her grandchildren, Cleveland Andrew Galloway, Robin Silvestri,
Ginni Lynn Breland, and Barrett Wilson Magee; and four great-grandchildren, Rachel
and Brent Breland, and Devin and Mason Silvestri.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. "Bill" Galloway; her parents,
J.C. Lott and Myrtis Thigpen; one brother, Jewel Lott; and a sister, Edith Gilchrist.
Visitation was held yesterday at Brown McGehee Funeral Home chapel from 5:30 until 10 p.m. and continued this morning from 8 a.m. until time for service.
