Esther was married for 52 years to Johnnie Bishop Cobb of Marion, LA. Mrs. Cobb was the daughter of Vaden Vincent Burkett and Ethel Lee Kirkpatrick of Ringgold, LA. She graduated from Ringgold High School. Mrs. Cobb enjoyed her life of being a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She had two children: John Alan Cobb, Sr. and wife Jeri Jones Cobb of Ringgold, LA, and Judy Cobb Heard and husband Edward Taylor Heard III of Tomball, TX. She is also survived by four grandchildren, John Alan Cobb, Jr, Debra Anne Cobb Mooney, Samantha Lee Heard, and Edward Taylor Heard IV. Also surviving are seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two younger sisters, Velma Burkett Moreland Turner, and Arneva Burkett Wimberly. Pallbearers will be John Alan Cobb, Jr, Edward Taylor Heard IV, Matthew Cobb, William Mooney, Will Mooney, and Cole Griffin. Honorary pallbearers will be Edward Taylor Heard V, Camron Griffin, and Gavin Griffin.
