BATON ROUGE Florence Montgomery Rogers, 76, a resident of Bogalusa, died Thursday at Landmark Nursing Home in Baton Rouge.
She was a life-long member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lex Rogers of Bogalusa; two daughters, Betty and Gordon Albritton of Baton Rouge and Jean and Ken Brown of Ackworth, GA; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Clara Rogers of Brandon, MS; one sister, Neva Hamilton of Baton Rouge; a brother, Ray Montgomery of Bogalusa; six grandchildren, Donna Morgan of McKinney, Texas, Brandi Spence and Shelly Bourg, both of Denham Springs, Scott
Courtright of Finley, OH, Steven Rogers of Taylorsville, GA and Tammi Pigott of Ackworth; and seven great-grandchildren, Jessica Morgan of
McKinney, Megan Spence and Hunter Bourg, both of Denham Springs, Raitlin and Grace Courtright of Finley and Amber and Philip Rogers of Taylorsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Florence Montgomery; a sister, Mary Lee Schilling; and two brothers, Carl and Earl
Montgomery.
Visitation was yesterday from 6-9 p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home. The funeral service will be in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. today with the Rev. Bob Adams officiating. Interment will be in Ponemah Cemetery.
