Virginia Planche, 76, a resident of Marrero died yesterday at WillowWoods at Woldenberg Village in New Orleans.
She is survived by her husband, Octave V. Planche Jr. of Marrero; two daughters, Ann Marie Fruge' of Coon Rapids, MN, and Jennifer Marie Leblanc of Gretna; five sons, Octave V. Planche III of Avondale, Felix A. Planche, Paul J. Planche, both of Marrero, Peter F. Planche of Chicago, IL, and Mark A. Planche of Tylertown, MS; a brother, Kenneth Richard of Shreveport; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. with a Rosary at 6 p.m. Visitation continues tomorrow at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church.
Father Lawrence Phelps will officiate and interment will follow in Ponemah Cemetery.
