Her parents were James "Tubb" and Eunice Cooper.
She was preceded by her husband Donald G. Penton Sr.; her twin sister Gloria Jean Galliano and 1 brother James Furman Cooper.
She passed away at her residence in Bogalusa, LA. she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served as a missionary for a year and a half in Houston, TX.
