Albert Sidney Johnston, Jr age 90, a resident of Alexandria, Louisiana and former resident Bogalusa, Louisiana, passed away January 7, 2009 at the VA Medical Center in Alexandria,Louisiana. He was a retired US Army Veteran.
He is survived by His wife of 63 years, Sadie Miley Johnston of Alexandria,Louisiana; Daughter-In-Law, Marion Spurlock Johnston; Grandchildren Nathan Curtis Johnston and Wife Amanda, Rebekah Johnston Wester and Husband Ron; Great-Grandchildren, Troy Elliott Johnston, Madison Elizabeth Wester and Abigail Sidney Wester. He is preceded in death by: Son, Sidney Lee Johnston; Parents, Albert Sidney Johnston, Sr and Jessie Randolph Johnston; Sisters Mary Ruth Johnston and Laura Mae Johnston Vaughan; Brothers Randolph Johnston, Abbott Johnston and G W Johnston.

Full Military Services by the Magic City American Legion Post #24 all on Saturday, January 10, 2009.

December 14, 1924 - July 25, 2018

Sadie Leona Johnston, 93, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in Williamsburg, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Johnston; son Sidney Johnston; parents Hamp and Bessie Miley; and sisters Alma Carpenter, Mavis Creel and Viola Wehmeyer. Sadie was a teacher with Bogalusa City Schools and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Alexandria, Louisiana. Survivors include daughter-in-law Marion Johnston; grandchildren Nathan Johnston and Rebekah Wester; great-grand- children Joshua King, Troy Johnston, Caleb King, Madison Wester, Abigail Wester, Owen Wester and Gracen Johnston; and sister, Mildred Camp.
