On Tuesday, August 28, 1962, at 6:52 o'clock a.m., at the Desporte Clinic in Bogalusa, La., MRS. ANNIE ALETHA WHITTINGTON FORTNER GEORGE JARRELL, widow of the late Garnet Fortner and Pearlie F. George; mother of Mrs. Norma M. Sullivan of New Orleans, La., Mrs. Bonnie Powe of Slidell, La.; sister of Claude Whittington, Liberty, Miss.; also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; age 91 years; a native of Crystal Springs, Miss., and a resident of Bogalusa, La.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Services from the chapel of the Brown Funeral Home Wednesday, August 29, 1962, at 2 o'clock p.m. Reverend A. Ben Hatfield and Reverend Thurman Booth officiating.
Interment in Ponemah cemetery, Bogalusa, La.
