Mrs. Ruth Herron Dixon
Bogalusa – Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Ruth Herrin Dixon, 74, who died yesterday at 9:14 a.m. in the Bogalusa Community Medical Center. She was a resident of 1618 Jackson Street, Bogalusa.
Visitation will be held today until 10 a.m. today at the Brown-McGehee Funeral Homeb and after 8:30 a.m. tomorrow until time for the funeral services at 10 a.m. in the chapel, with Elder Ted Phillips officiating with internment in Ponemah Cemetery.
She is survived by a son, J. C. Book of Sugarland, Texas; three daughters, Mary Tanner of Varnado, Betty Westmoreland of Bogalusa, Dale Reviere of Franklinton; three brothers, Joe, Coney and Bill Herron; and three sisters, Ethel Gardner, Carrie and Edith Herron, all of Jonesville, La.; 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
