Onita Stogner Crosby, 90, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Gulf States LTAC.

She is survived by one son, Lee H. Crosby of Bogalusa; two daughters, Annie Jones and Maxine Kellar, both of Bogalusa; one brother, Clyde E. Stogner Jr. of Tylertown, Miss.; a special friend, Kristy Hunt of Bogalusa; 20 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pink Crosby; one son, J. P. Crosby; daughters Betty Saucier and Elaine Whitaker; her parents, Clyde E. Jr. and Annie Stogner; sisters Juanita Forbes and infant sister Stogner; and one grandson, Joseph R. Crosby.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 2 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Larry Lassley and Rev. Tom Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Ponemah Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are Daniel Mizell, David Armour, Brian Hennick, Vincent Hennick, Lee Crosby Jr. and Joshua Crosby. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny W. Crosby, Marty Crosby and Mack Kellar.
