Bogalusa - Mrs. Vernice H. Crain, 80, died yesterday at her residence in Bogalusa at 11:50 a.m.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Crain, Bogalusa; two sons, Don Crain and Bobby Earl Crain of Hackley; two daughters, Mrs. Josephine (Glynn) Coles, Mandeville, and Mrs. Paul (Evelyn) Brumfield, Angie; three sisters, Ernestine Cooper, Bonnie Magee, and Earline Miller, all of Franklinton; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home will be 6-10 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Thursday.
The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Sollie Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Ponemah Cemetery.
