Wife of Galen Bryan Black Sr
Elma Martin Black, 99, died Friday, Aug. 4 in Resthaven Living Center, Bogalusa.
She is survived by a nephew, Doyle (Ann) Martin; a niece, Doris Martin; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ilda and T.J. Martin; three brothers, Robert Bernard, Melvin and Arnold Martin; a sister, Dorothy Sutherland; a nephew, Charles E. Martin; and her husband, Galen B. Black.
Visitation was held Monday, Aug. 7 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
The Rev. Ed Jenkins officiated, with burial following in Ponemah Cemetery.
