BOGALUSA - Donnie Cooper Taylor, age 87, died Saturday at her residence in Bogalusa.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Donna Taylor; two daughters and sons-in-law, Catheryn and Hershel Westmoreland, and Betty and Bo Riley; three sisters, Athalea Rayborn, Lexie Jenkins and Bonnie Magee; eight grandchildren, Turhan and Gwen Breland, Karon and Debbie Breland, Edgar and Dewanna Pounds, Glenn and Annette Westmoreland, Delane and Bo Gatlin, Denise and Mark Menard, Tonya Riley, Chris and Shannon Taylor; 14 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Taylor; her parents, George and Lucinda Cooper; one daughter and son-in-law, Wilfred and Doris Breland Jarrell; one granddaughter, Natasha Taylor; five brothers, and two sisters.
Visitation was held yesterday at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5:30 to 10 p.m.
The funeral is scheduled today at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Billy Galloway and the Rev. Clyde Cooper officiating.
Interment will follow in Nobles Cemetery.
