PINE - Carl Truman Luper, age 12, a resident of Pine, died Monday, Jan. 9 in Pine.
He is survived by his parents, Leslie Truman Luper and Myrtis Lenore Statham Luper; his maternal grandmother, Meadell Statham of Franklinton; two sisters, Wendy Statham of Hammond and Kathy Redmond of Pine; two brothers and a sister-in-law, J.J. Redmond, Mitchell and Ashley Redmond, all of Tickfaw; aunts and uncles, Carlos and Ann Luper of Thomas, Sarah Smith of Franklinton, Wesley and Jimmy Schilling of Mt. Hermon, Crystal Luper and Jerry Graves, both of Pine; nieces and nephews, Logan Jarrell, Trent Statham, Alyssa Hughes and Theresa Hughes.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Mary Luper and Robert Statham.
Visitation was held Wednesday, Jan. 11 at Thomas Baptist Church from 5:30 to 10 p.m. and continued at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12 until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. The Rev. Dennie Brumfield officiated, with interment following in Nobles Cemetery.
Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, Bogalusa, was in charge of arrangements.
