Husband of Mary L Starnes Luper
BOGALUSA Carl Alfred Luper, 61, died this morning at his home in Franklinton.
He survived by his wife, Mary Luper of Franklinton; mother, Ola Garner Luper; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Carlos (Ann) Luper of Thomas, Leslie (Myrtis) Luper of Pine; one daughter, Vickie Luper of Pine; one brother, Thad Luper Jr. of Covington; 14 grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Thad Luper Sr. and one brother ClaudeLuper.
Visitation will be held tonight at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 6-10 p.m. and will continuetomorrow at 8:30 a.m. Funeral ser vices will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Rev. Otha Schillings Jr.will officiate. Interment will be at Nobles Cemetery.
