Wife of Carl Alfred Luper
BOGALUSA - Mary Starnes Luper died early today at her residence in Pine.
She is survived by two daughters, Vickie Luper and Crystal Luper, both of Pine; two sons and daughters-in-law, Leslie and Myrtis Luper of Pine, Carlos and Ann Luper of Thomas; six sisters and a brother-in-law, Mabel Chaney, Deanie and Dewight Stockstill, all of Covington, MevaLee
Taylor of Varnado, Nell Bates and Joan Williams, both of Pine and Jean Fairborne of Franklinton; three brothers, James Starnes of Warnerton, William Starnes and Lark Starnes, both of Pine; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Carl Luper.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Cox officiating. Interment will follow in the Nobles Cemetery at Pine.
