Hold last rites for Mrs. Ladner in Louisiana Funeral services were held in Pine, La. Monday for Mrs. Leola Polk Ladner, 83, of the Burnt Bridge community. Services were held at the Pine Baptist Church.
Rev. C. P. Toney, Rev. Hulon Broome, and Rev. J. M. Stuart officiated at the services with burial in the Nobles Cemetery at Pine.
Mrs. Ladner was a native of Jefferson Davis County and had lived the past 24 years in her present home with her son-in-law and daughter, Rev. and Mrs. Duval Stuart.
She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Pallbearers were Lavon, John, Douglas, Lonnie, and E. E. Stuart, and Donald Ladner. Bounds Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Duval Stuart, Route 4, Hattiesburg; one son, Albert, Franklinton, La.; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
