Sally Myles Varnado, age 77, and a resident of Franklinton died at 7 AM Friday, October 26, 2007 at Our Lady of Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge. She was retired from Washington Bank and First State Bank after 40 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survived by husband, Ray N. Varnado of Franklinton; 2 Sons and daughters in law, Rev. Rodney and Becky Wood of Baton Rouge, Alvin and Cindy Wood of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Jake Wood of Selma, AL, Jim Wood of Denver, CO, John Wood of Nashville, TN, Alison Wood of Los Angeles, CA, Victoria Wood, Myles Wood both of Houston, TX; three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Anne Wood, Mary Page Wood, Jacob Myles Wood, Jr.; one sister, Carolyn Fletcher of Baton Rouge.
She was preceded in death by granddaughter Rebecca Elizabeth Wood, her parents Ambus and Effie Forrest Myles, a brother O.D. Myles and a sister Denva Johnson.
