Mrs. Kate Pierce Manning, wife of T.J. Manning died Friday, age 49 years, having been married for about 30 years. She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Pierce. Survivors include her husband, 3 children, Charle Guthrie of Franklinton, Miss Hilda of New Orleans and Miss Wilda of Franklinton, 3 sisters, Mrs. E.L. Magee, wife of Mayor Magee, Mrs. R.D. Wood, and Mrs. L.T. Burkhalter, 2 brothers, J.C. and Willie Pierce of Magnolia. Interment was in the Morris cemetery.
