Fred Erbin McGehee, age 68, passed away on Thursday, March 19. He was a lifelong resident of Bogalusa. He never met a stranger and was loved by all.
He is survived by his sister, LaJune McGehee Parker of Bush; brothers, Rodney McGehee of Angleton, Texas, Doyle McGehee of Sargeant, Texas and Gene McGehee of Bogalusa; sisters-in-law, Dodie McGehee, Carole McGehee, Earline McGehee and Sondra McGehee; and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelton and Dera McGehee; brothers, Wayne McGehee and Roy McGehee; brother-in-law, Hezzie Parker.
Visitation will be at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Sunday, March 22 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., continuing on Monday from 11 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at McGehee Cemetery in Bogalusa.
