Rogers, Murl Andrew (Bill), age 65, died January 29th at Riverside Medical Center. Interment was held in the Magee Cemetery near Lawrence Creek Baptist Church. Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Louis Rogers, 4 daughters, 1 brother, 3 sisters and 10 grandchildren.

FRANKLINTON — Ella Rogers, 88, a resident of Riverview Apartments in Franklinton, died yesterday at 9 p.m. in her home. The widow of Bill Rogers, she was a retired school bus driver for the Washington Parish School Board and a member of Lawrence Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Billie Cahill of San Pedro, CA, Lillie and Vernell Hamilton, Willie Mae and Monroe McElveen, and Ladonics and Billy Lott, all of Franklinton; a brother, J.W. Taylor of Franklinton; two sisters, Nola Hatley of Franklinton and Margaine Davis of Tylertown; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, W.O. and Lillie Thomas Taylor; two sons-in-law, Ronald Cahill and Paul Dillon; a sister, Mary Whaley; a grandson-in-law, Shelby Jenkins; and brothers-in-law, Howard Hatley, Haze Whaley, and Woodrow Davis.
Visitation will be held at Crain Funeral Home today from 5-9 p.m. and will continue tomorrow at Lawrence Creek Missionary Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Elds. Lerand Hunt and Don Jacobs will officiate at the service.
Burial will follow in the Magee Cemetery at Lawrence Creek.
Active Pallbearers will be Mark Cahill, Todd McElveen, Gary Hamilton, Craig Corkern, Dustin Jenkins, Andrew Jenkins, and Johnathan Watson. Honorary pallbearers will include Dylan Seal, Cody Williams, Jeremy Corkern, Chris Corkern, Chance McElveen, Morgan Penton, Ryan Hamilton, Christopher Hamilton, Will Polk, Joseph Polk, Andy James, Marcus Cahill, Ian James, and Mathew James.
