DELOS JACKSON SINGLEY, AGE 90

And a resident of the Hilltop Community died at 4:00 am Monday October 15, 2012 at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa. He was a lifelong member of Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church and a retired carpenter. Mr. Singley served in the United States Army under General Patton in Germany and other parts of Europe during World War II.

Survived by:

Wife: Myrtle Lee Singley of Angie

2 Daughters and Sons in law: Gloria and Jimmy Turner, Shirley and Paul Scott all of Angie

6 Grandchildren: Eric Ingram, Dennis Ingram, Todd Lang, Matt Lang, Anna Turner, Trevor Turner

16 Great-grandchildren

Sister: Marie Seal of Tylertown

Sister in law: Bobbie Jean Singley of the Hilltop Community

Also numerous nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by a daughter Rosemary Ingram, parents Billy Singley and Myrtis Hines Singley, grandson Justin Turner, great-grandson Jackson Paul Lang and his brother Carlos Singley.

Visitation will be at Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church Wednesday October 17th from 9 am until the funeral service at 2 pm with Eld. Mark Hobgood, Rev. Denny Brumfield, Eld. Duane Ball, and Eld. Clyde Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers: Michael Todd Lang, Matthew Lang, Eric Ingram, Dennis Ingram, Hal Russell, Cody Singley, Paul Scott

And a resident of Angie died at 11:38 AM Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Bogalusa.

She was a member of Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church.

Survived by: 2 Daughters and sons in law: Gloria and Jimmy Turner; Shirley and Paul Scott all of Pine

5 Grandchildren and spouses: Dennis Ingram, Sr. and Amy, Eric Ingram and Tammy Michael Todd Lang, Matthew Lang and Makena, Anna Rose Turner

19 Great Grandchildren: Dennis Ingram, Jr., Rachael Ingram, Hanna Ingram, Abby Ingram, Morgan Lang, Taylor Lang, Eli Lang, Treavor Lang, Michael Scott Lang, Gracie Lang, Erica Ingram, Katherine Ingram, Gabrielle Penton, Rebecca Ingram, Briana La’Shae Holloway, Brandon James Turner, Brooke Elizabeth Lang, Isabella Nicole Lang, Harper Anne Lang.

She was preceded in death by her husband Delos Singley, a daughter Rosemary Ingram, Grandson Justin Andrew Turner, great grandson Jackson Paul Lang, her parents Andrew and Rosetta Williams McKenzie, 2 brothers J.D. McKenzie and K.C. McKenzie and mother in law Myrtis Singley.

Visitation will be at Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church after 9 AM Tuesday, February 17, 2015 with a funeral service to be held at 12 noon with Eld. Mark Hobgood and Eld. Clyde Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
