February 10, 1936 - June 3, 2015
Joseph Petrolia, Jr. age 79, born on Febuary 10,1936 in New Orleans, La. passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at his residence in Angie, La.
He is survived by two sons, Allen (Angela) Netherland and Darrell Petrolia.; five grandchildren, Joey Netherland, Meagan Petrolia, Melanie Petrolia, Shelby Netherland Wallace and Zachary Netherland,; nine great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Joyce Mooneyham and Betty Alsobrooks, a special nephew, William Brumfield and his lovable companions, Smokey and Chase.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nell Petrolia; his parents, Joseph Petrolia, Sr. and Mary Vatrano Petrolia, six sisters, Lena Petrolia, Stella Petrolia, Josephine Petrolia, Pauline Wong, Virginia Angelo and Bernice Petrolia; two brothers, Anthony Petrolia and Roy Petrolia.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The Funeral Services will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Mark Hobgood officiating. Interment is to follow at Hilltop Baptist Church Cemetery in Angie, La.
