FRANKLINTON- Bezzie McKenzie Forbes, 88, a resident of the Hilltop community, died yesterday in Riverside Medical Center. She was a member of Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Carlos and Bobby Jean Forbes Singley of the Hilltop community; one son, Harold Forbes of the Hilltop community; 10 grandchildren, Leroy Forbes, Lavon Forbes, Loris Forbes Bailey, Janice Forbes, Ricky Forbes, Harold Forbes Jr., Roger Forbes, Waymon Singley, Jackie Singley
Diehl and Beverly Singley Freeman; 20 great-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Annie Mae McKenzie and Harry Kennedy of Stateline; one sister-in-law, Oda Lee Kennedy McKenzie; two brothers, and a sister-in-law, Hershel McKenzie of Stateline and Denver and Leatrice McKenzie of Sandy Hook;
one brother-in-law, A.C. Williams of Varnado; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Anise Seal McKenzie; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Andrew and Rosetta Williams McKenzie, Donese and Daliah Berry McKenzie, Modez and Ruby Williams McKenzie and Hilton
McKenzie; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Havord and Viola McKenzie Kennedy, Mavis McKenzie Williams; one sister-in-law, Marcelle Breland; one daughter-in-law, Ruby Seal Forbes; and one great-granddaughter, Amber Shantel Singley.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home today from 5- 9 p.m. and tomorrow in Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Elders Mark Hobgood, J.W. Graves, R.J. Kennedy and Duane Ball will officiate.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
