CHRISTINE FUSSELL PENTON
Was born on May 13, 1929 to Arnold William and Junie Miller Fussell at Enon, LA. She passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Crestview Senior Living in Webster City, IA. She was 79 years of age. Christine was a member of Enon Baptist Church and graduated from Enon High School in 1947. She worked with the Washington Parish Library for 33 years before retiring.
She is survived by her son Robert "Bobby" Penton of Fort Dodge, IA, her daughter and son in law Brenda and Stephan Japuntich of Webster City, IA and her grandchildren, Kaitlin Japuntich of Iowa City, IA, Monica, Natalie, and Paul Japuntich of Webster City, IA. She is also survived by her niece Kathy (Fred) Rebstock of Enon, LA and her nephews, Michael (Judy) Fussell, Ronald Fussell, Donald (Kathy) Fussell, Jeffrey (Melissa) Fussell all of Enon, LA and several other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents Arnold William and Junie Miller Fussell, brother and sister in law D.O. and Lois Miley Fussell, nephews Wayne and Charles Ray Fussell, and niece Elizabeth "Sissy" Fussell.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Friday May 1st from 5 until 8 pm and after 9 am on Saturday. A funeral service will be held at 10 am Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Harry McIntyre officiating. Burial will follow in the Fussell Cemetery.
Pallbearers are nephews Michael, Ronald, Donald, and Jeffrey Fussell, Billy Ray Breland, Jr and great-nephew Ronald "Ronnie" Fussell, II
