FRANKLINTON - Alice Givens Taylor, age 70, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.

A member of Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, she is survived by her husband, John H. Taylor, of Franklinton; three sons and a daughter-in-law: Archie and Debbie McClendon of Mt. Hermon, Johnny McClendon of Franklinton and Eugene McClendon of Hammond; four daughters and sons-in-law: Jackie and Gene Stone of Picayune, Miss., Ruby Dean Bates and Harry Dorcey of Tickfaw, Diane Morris of Franklinton and Geraldine and Neil Ledet of Thomas; two brothers: Marvin Givens and Leo Givens, both of Franklinton; four sisters: Annie Hebert and Audrey Passman, both of Franklinton, Jena Evans of Zachary and Della Zachary of Denham Springs and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Pecola Jenkins Givens; a sister, Mackie Davis; a brother, Hollis Givens and a son-in-law, James Morris.

Funeral service was at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Crain Funeral Home with Rev. Denny Brumfield and Elder Gary Sumrall officiating. Burial was in Faith Tabernacle Church Cemetery.
