Prudence is the daughter of Massie Runyon (1768-1870) who was born in Frederick, Maryland, and John Masoner (1764-1830) who was born Montgomery (Colony of Virginia) British America. Both Massie & John Masoner died in Miegs County, Tennessee
Prudence married Thomas Marion Harp who was born 15 Aug 1789. They married in Overton County, Tennessee in 1820. Prudence and Thomas eventually settled in Marshall County, Mississippi, where Thomas died on 1 May 1850.
Prudence and several of her children, joined her sons who already lived in Morehouse Parish, Louisiana.
