Ernest: 1854 - 1944
Sirena: 1869 - 1941
Ernest Clinton "E.C." Wilcox was born in Ohio. Later as an adult he migrated down into Arkansas with several members of his family. That was where he met Sirena Isabella Young Chappell. (She was previously married to Tom Chappell but he died.) On Oct. 10, 1894 Ernest and Sirena were married in Jackson County, Arkansas. Shortly after that they moved southward and finally settled into Bossier parish, Louisiana. Ernest was the son of George Daniel Wilcox and Elnora (or Lenora) Raymond. Sirena was the daughter of Robert Jason Young and Elizabeth Ann White.
