Died 6 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 1986, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Denham Springs. She was 84, a native and former resident of Franklinton, and resident of Denham Springs. Visiting at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton, after 8 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Paul Holder, and the Rev. Harvey Stuart. Burial in Ellis Cemetery , Franklinton. Survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Harold (Kathryn) Crain, and Mrs. George (Thelma) Thomas, both of Walker, Mrs. Aaron (Mary)Adams, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Zelia Crowe, Franklinton, Mrs. Virgil (Oneida) Thomas, Varnado, Mrs. Denver (Peggy) Populis, Chalmette, and Mrs. Earl (Betty Sue) Rothermell, Phoenix, Ariz.; a son, Billy Stringer, Walker; four sisters, Mrs. Percy (Addie) McKenzie, Jackson, Miss., Mrs. Alton (Ouida) Sterling, Nebraska, Mrs. Dewey (Vernell) Fusghun, and Mrs. Farrell (Mildred) Alford, both of Taylortown; 35 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
