Raymond Charles Stieber, Sr., age 89 years, a victim of Hurricane Katrina, and a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and retired with 38 years of service from CSX Railroad.
He was the husband of the late Marian Barkley Stieber. Father of the late Raymond C. Stieber, Jr. He is survived by two daughters, Maude S. Parker of Hernando, MS and Diane S. Porrazzo of New Orleans, LA; one sister, Pauline Campbell; one brother, Alvin Stieber; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, October 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ellis Cemetery , Franklinton, LA, Rev. Danny von Kanel, officiating.
