STAFFORD, ROSALIE FORTENBERRY
A resident of Franklinton, she died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, 2000, at St. Tammany Hospital, Covington. She was 96. She was a member of Centenary Methodist Church and a past member of Winterset Club, Greenleaves, Women's Mission Union and The Coffee Klatch. She was the widow of Johnie M. Stafford. Survived by a son, Charles E. Stafford of Franklinton; a daughter, Yvonne Stafford Crawford of Franklinton; four grandchildren, Johnie M. Stafford II, Kathleen S. Jewell, Candace Sue Crawford and John Bradford Crawford; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. Visitation was at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. Visitation at the funeral home chapel from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Lyndell Bullard and Dr. Gene Richards officiating. Burial in Ellis Cemetery .
