Mrs. Tessie Walton Sheeks

BOGALUSA - Mrs. Tessie Walton Sheeks, 93, a resident of Green Street, Franklinton, died Wednesday, December 11th, at 8 p.m. at the Riverside Medical Center.
A native of Campbellsburg, Indiana, she was a resident of Franklinton for the past two years.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frances Nunnery of Franklinton; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Winslow of Mattapoisett, Massachusetts, and Mrs. Leronia Berretta of Bedford, Indiana; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
The body lay in state at the Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton until the time for funeral services, which were held Saturday, December 14th, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Sammy Smith officiating.
Interment followed in the Ellis Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Denver Miller, David Miller, Joel Nunnery, Charles Lutz, James C. Lutz, and Charles J. Lutz, Jr.
