Stephen Henry Bounds was born in Alabama. He was married to Narcisse Lott. He and his brother William Richard Bounds served together in the Civil War. After the war, he and his family came from Barbour county, AL along with many other related families and settled in Rocky Mount, Bossier parish, LA.
