Died 5 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 1995, at his residence in Franklinton. He was 86, and a native of Franklinton. He was a retired dairyman. Visiting at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton, 9 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by Dr. Jerry Barlow and the Rev. Ed Griffin. Interment in Ellis Cemetery , Franklinton. Survived by adopted children, Albert G. Branch Jr., Janice W. Branch, and Jeffery Branch, all of Franklinton, and Albert G. Jr. and Amy Branch, both of New Orleans; a grandson, Taylor Branch; and a sister, Mrs. Odile M. Toney, Franklinton. Preceded in death by wife, Alma Branch Magee. He served for several years on the Louisiana State Milk Commission, and was charter member of the Board of Directors of Parish NationalBank in Franklinton and Gulf Dairy Association in Kentwood.

Visiting at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton, 9 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by Dr. Jerry Barlow. Burial in Ellis Cemetery , Franklinton.
Survived by husband, A.G. Magee Jr., Franklinton; two nephews, Albert G. Branch, Franklinton, and Dale E. Branch, Bogalusa; great-nephews and a great-niece. She was a member of Franklinton First Baptist Church and Noble Queen Chapter No. 45, Order of Eastern Star. Family request memorial donations be made to Franklinton First Baptist Church Building Fund.
