Wife of Floyd H Jenkins
Fern Harvin Jenkins, 83, a native of St. Helena Parish and a resident of St. Bernard Parish for the past seven years, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002, at Chalmette Medical Center. She was the widow of Floyd Jenkins and a retired clerk with the St. Helena Parish School Board office. Survived by three children and their spouses, Gale J. and Ronnie Warren of Amite, Debbie J. and Shelton McMillan of Chalmette and Rick Jenkins of Gardener, Mont.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wanda H. Mattio, and Eve Harvin of Metairie; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Harvin and Leon Harvin. Visitation in Crain Funeral Home chapel, Franklinton, from 9 a.m. Monday until funeral service at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Casey Tingle officiating. Burial in Ellis Cemetery .
