Wife of Heyward Green
Daughter of Otis Destrehan and Zoe Carter Richardson
Geraldine Richardson Green, a homemaker, died Saturday at St. Tammany Hospital in Franklinton. She was 85. Mrs. Green was a lifelong resident of Franklinton. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was a member of United Methodist Women and a member and past president of the Waverly Club. Survivors include two sons, Heyward Carter Green of Jackson, Miss., and John Barrett Green; a sister, Josephine Tot Lewis of Bogalusa; and four grandchildren. A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton. Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. and Monday beginning at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Ellis Cemetery in Franklinton.
