ERIC L. FUSSELL, age 99
and a resident of Franklinton died at 8:00 PM Friday at Lakeview Hospital in Covington. He was a longtime employee and stock holder of Babington Drugs where he served as pharmacist for over 50 years. He was a lifetime member of the Louisiana Pharmacist Assn. He was a deacon emeritus at First Baptist Church where he also served as church treasurer for 41 years. He was a member of Franklinton Masonic Lodge #101. He served as a town alderman from 1938 until 1955.
Survived by: Son and daughter in law: Dr. Brian E. and Lynn Fussell of Franklinton Daughter and son in law: Gayle and Jack Beene of Mexia, TX also 4 grandchildren and spouses: Stephen and Carla Beene of Coppell, TX Susan and John Hadley of Arlington, TX Allison Fussell of Houston Barrett Fussell of Franklinton 3 great-grandchildren Clay and Cole Hadley and Braden Beene.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Alford Fussell; parents Murray and Lelia Fisher Fussell and his brother Clyde Fussell.
Visitation at Crain Funeral Home from 6 PM until 9 PM Monday and after 8 AM Tuesday. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Luther Stanford and Dr. Joe Baugh officiating. Burial in the Ellis Cemetery.
