Aylene Wood Burris , age 76 and a resident of Franklinton died at 7:00 AM Sunday, March 13, 2006 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington. She was a retired teacher in the Washington Parish Schools and a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Franklinton. She will be deeply missed by her husband Harvey Burris of Franklinton, 3 Daughters and sons-in-law: Monica and Barry Pierce of Covington, Rita and David Harned of Baton Rouge, Nina and Hal Pavur of Baton Rouge, Six Grandchildren and spouses: Laura Werner and husband Tony, John Pierce and wife Alissa, Rachel Harned, Clay Harned, Christopher Pavur, Michelle Pavur, One Great-grandchild: Anthony Werner, Sister: Alice Stafford of Franklinton, Brother: Richard Wood of Franklinton.
Visitation at Crain Funeral Home after 1 PM Monday March 13, 2006 until time for the funeral service at 3 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Van Stinson officiating. Burial in the Ellis Cemetery.
