A retired teacher/counselor with the Ascension Parish school system, she departed this life at 1:50 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2007, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She entered this life in New Orleans, to the late Archille Clark Sr. and Dora Jackson Clark on March 4, 1947. She was 60 years old. She leaves to mourn a daughter, Cindie D. Johnson; and a son, Bertrell R. Johnson. She also leaves to mourn seven sisters, six brothers and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The viewing will be at First Pilgrim Calvary Baptist Church, La. 73, Geismar, on Friday, June 22, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and the service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday.
