Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Madeline Ann Cooper Dison, 42, at Calvary Baptist Church of Homer, LA, on Sunday, November 18, 2018, at 2:00 P.M., with Rev. Steve Beard, officiating. Interment will be at Beech Grove United Methodist Cemetery in Spearsville, LA. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 5-8 P.M.
Madeline was born June 28, 1976, in New Orleans, LA, to Mary Sprunk and Garland Cooper, Sr. She entered into rest on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, in West Monroe, LA. Madeline loved her family and loved to laugh. She loved camping, swimming and arts and crafts. Madeline was a fighter and confronted everything this messed up world threw at her head on. She turned a house into a home and everything into an adventure. Madeline had a big heart and always tried to take care of everyone else before herself all the way to her last day. There were tons of great memories with Madeline and she will forever be loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Tammy Sefeuntes.
She is survived by her husband, Reuben Dison; four children, Eric Sullins and wife Cassidy of Malvern, AR, Michael Sullins, Jr. and wife Alicia of Delight, AR, Faith McCool and husband Oscar of Spearsville, LA and Savannah Dison of Spearsville, LA; a sister, Jeannie Cooper of IL; a brother, Wayne Cooper and wife Tammy of Hope AR; six grandchildren, Kaden, Lyncoln, Jullianna, Bently, Addison, and Kaine; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas Dison, Scott Jones, Paul Manning, Benny Pennington, Chris Pennington, and Toby Pennington.
Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Callender and Matthew Stephenson.
