Funeral services for Nancie Lorett Anderson Witherington Ormond, 75, of Sterlington, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Graceminster Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bruce Rux and Rev. Alan Womack officiating. Interment will follow at Beech Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Union Parish near Spearsville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Mrs. Ormond was born on April 10, 1937 in Camden, AR and passed away on August 3, 2012 in Sterlington, LA. She was retired from Jimmy Goad Builders in El Dorado, AR. She was a member of Graceminster Presbyterian Church where she was member of the choir and an Elder for the church. She was preceded in death by her late husbands, J. E. Witherington and Edgar Ormond and a son, Mark Steven Witherington. She is survived by her son, Russell Witherington and his wife, Dee Dee; grandson, Clint Witherington; sister, Windie Anderson Joiner; brothers, Sam Anderson and Martin Anderson; stepsons, Eddie Ormond and his wife, Donna Lynn, Tommy Ormond and wife, Evalyn, Jimmy Ormond and wife, Barbara; step-daughter, Donna Powell and husband, Jimmy; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
