Funeral services for Mr James Bryan Malone, Sr, 85 of Farmerville, Louisiana, will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church in Farmerville. Officiating will be Rev Scott Jennings. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mr Malone was a lifelong member of Antioch Baptist Church where he served as deacon for over 50 years and Secretary Treasurer for over 40 years. He was also a veteran of WWII. He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Helen R Malone, parents, F O and Susie Laster Malone and nephew Eddie L Hayes, Jr He is survived by son, James B Malone, Jr and wife Laura of Farmerville; daughter Sharon M Britt and husband Robert of Farmerville; sister Cecil Mae Hayes of Bastrop, Louisiana; grandchildren Bryan Britt and wife Alicia, Wren Jordan and husband Chance, Stephanie Jordan and husband Jesse all of West Monroe; Kelsey Malone of Farmerville; great-grandchildren, Gracie and Emmerson Britt, Britt and Jett Jordan, Maci, Jessa, Arlea, and Earyn Jordan all of West Monroe, LA; Avery Grace Baxley of Farmerville; nieces Pat Miller and husband Jim of Farmerville,; Sue Adams and husband Doyle of Fort Necessity; a host of in-laws, great nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 5:00 PM 7:00 PM at the church.
