Funeral services for Jackie Joe Morris, Sr., 66, of Farmerville will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Antioch Baptist Church with Bro. Rubin Weaver and Bro. Dewayne Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery, near Farmerville, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Morris went to his heavenly home on August 21, 2018, after succumbing to injuries received in an automobile accident. He was a lifelong resident of Farmerville, La.

Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his parents, Dub & Bessie Morris; and one daughter, Vicki Morris, who passed away in 1999.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Martha Ann Morris; one son, Jackie Joe Morris, Jr.; four sisters, Sue Ramsey of Bernice, La., Edna Pardue & husband, Danny of Farmerville, La., Rosie Simpson & husband, Frank of Chatham, La. and Barbara Bennett & husband, Jamie of Pasadena, Tx.; three brothers, William Morris, Jr. & wife, Gwen, Johnny Morris & wife, Brenda and Robert Morris, all of Farmerville, La.; two sisters-in-law, Judy Uptigrove of Little Rock, Ar. and Janie Ivy of Monroe, La.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Curtis Bearden, Kevin Jennings, Michael Smith, Greg Ramsey, Hunter Futch and T.C. Dupree.
