Charles J Breedlove, 58, a resident of Route 4F, Franklinton, died at 4 am Monday, March 10, at the St Tammany Hospital in Covington.
A native of Grafton, West Virginia, and a longtime resident of the Bonner Creek Community, he was an employee of the Southeast Louisiana Hospital in Mandeville, a veteran of World War II, and a member of the Bonner Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Raziana Breedlove of Franklinton; two sons, Richard Dale Breedlove of Plainview and William Robert Breedlove of Franklinton; five daughters, Mrs Barbara Ann Fernandez of Tampa, Florida, Mrs Peggy Sue Fox of Theodore, Alabama, Mrs Sharon Annette Gaudig and Mrs Connie Ann Sandifer, both of Tylertown, Mississippi, and Miss Geraldine Catherine Breedlove of Franklinton; his mother, Mrs Nellis B Murray of Grafton, West Virginia; three sisters and a brother, all of West Virginia; and 11 grandchildren.
The body lay in state at the Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton until the time for funeral services, which were conducted at Wednesday, March 12, in the funeral home chapel with Rev Harry McIntyre and Rev Sugar Larcello officiating.Interment was in the Bonner Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Leverette Jones, Cecil Jones, Joe W Sandifer, David Passman, Mike Jones, Travis Sandifer, Norman Sandifer, and Ernie Painter.
