October 24, 1945 - March 23, 2005
Janice Whelan Morton, Age 59, a native of Algiers, now a resident of Franklinton , died at 8:10 A.M., on Wednesday at her residence. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Survived by her husband: Steaven Morton, of Franklinton ; 1 son: Scott Morton, of Franklinton ; 4 daughters: Nicole Seal, Kelly Crowe and Sarah Call, all of Franklinton and Amy Morton of New Orleans; 16 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; 2 sisters: Merhl Salvaggio, of Algiers and Kathleen Carlson, of Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Samantha Morton and a grandson, Tyler Crowe, and her parents, Williams and Gladys Whelan.
Visitation will be at CRAIN FUNERAL HOME from 6 P.M. until 10 P.M. Thursday. A Rosary will be held at 6:15 P.M. Thursday. Visitation will continue after 9 A.M. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church with a Funeral Service to be held at 10 A.M. with Father Peter Hammett, Officiating. Burial will follow in the Springhill Magee Cemetery .
