Marie Fricke Polk, 92, a resident of the Bethel Community, died at 5:35 p.m. Saturday at her residence.
She was the widow of Herman Polk.
She is survived by one daughter, Evelyn Polk Allen of Franklinton; one granddaughter and her husband, Pat and Larry Archote of Franklinton; one grandson and his wife, Kevin and Cindy Allen of Franklinton; one sister, Mildred Simmons of Metairie; five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation took place yesterday at the Crain Funeral Home between 12:30 p.m. and the time for the funeral at 4 p.m. in the chapel.
Burial was in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
