Claudine Burkhalter Kinlaw, 82, a resident of Tallahassee, FL for the past five years died last Wednesday in Tallahassee. She was a retired secretary from the Southeastern Louisiana University Alumni Association in Hammond and a charter member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Hammond. She was the wife of the late Dr. Howard M. Kinlaw.
She is survived by a daughter, Joan Vanatta and her husband, C.B. Vanatta of Groves, Texas; her sons, Howard M. Kinlaw and his wife, Kathleen Kinlaw of Virginia Beach, VA, and Greg Kinlaw of Tallahassee, FL; a sister, D'Willa Henkel of Hammond; grandchildren, Kimberly Owen of Groves, Courtney Landry of Monterey, CA, Vanessa Kinlaw of Virginia Beach, VA and Virginia, Brandy and Heather Kinlaw of Tallahassee, FL; and great-granddaughters, Alyssa and Laura Owen and Haley Landry.

A graveside service will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklinton followed by a reception at the church.
